Lalland DK is a luxurious 100% lambswool knitting yarn designed by Di Gilpin. Because it was spun in a cashmere mill in Scotland, Lalland Lambswool is unique. As part of the finishing process, it is plied, twisted, and steamed at the Laxtons in Yorkshire.
A light DK lambswool, Lalland DK is a two-ply yarn with an extra twist, giving it a superb stitch definition with a vintage look to enhance its appeal. It is also pleasantly soft on the skin.
We stock 21 stunning colours of this yarn. The Scottish landscape inspired the colours; there is a heathery blend with natural shades and real pops of colour in the palette, which means that Lalland is a good choice for colourwork.
Di has also designed many lovely patterns to showcase how versatile and exceptional this knitting yarn is.
