    Indulge in the luxurious softness of Pénélope, a wool-silk blend produced by De Rerum Natura. This yarn is exceptionally soft and elastic, with a subtle satiny sheen and beautiful drape. The fine fibres are combed into a ribbon for increased softness and strength, spun in Italy, and dyed in France.

    Pénélope is perfect for knitting baby clothing and elegant jumpers, and it is a delight to knit with. It's not superwash treated, so we recommend hand washing your knitted fabric in warm water with soap or a suitable detergent. If you wish to test the wool program of your machine, we advise you to do so first with your sample.

    Pénélope is named after the feminine character in the Odyssey of Homer. With its exceptional softness and drape, Pénélope is the perfect choice for creating beautiful and comfortable knitwear.       Tangled Yarn is now signed up for IOSS, collecting and remitting import VAT on your behalf. This means that VAT on orders under €150 will be paid by Tangled Yarn (not by you upon delivery).       Customers outside the UK and the EU may be liable for taxes, duties and import fees. As the buyer you are responsible for these charges and they are usually requested prior to delivery by the postal service in your country.
