SSP (slip stitch party) Shawl Yarn Set
When we spotted Isabell Kraemer's new shawl design SSP we could resist putting together a yarn set to knit in John Arbon Yarnadelic!
SSP is worked flat (sideways), increasing along one edge to create an asymmetrical triangle. Stitches are increased in the slip stitch pattern and then onward into the 1x1 ribbing. A built-in slip stitch edge and the slip stitch colourwork (you only work with one colour on any given row) will be the perfect introduction into colourwork (promise - you will have nothing but fun!). The combination of easy slip stitch patterns and the sportive wide ribbing give this shawl a sophisticated yet casual look.
Included in this yarn set is 5 100g skeins of Yarnadelic Sport and one mini skein (CC3) in the following colours:-
MC - Wondrous Place, CC1 - Indigo Dust, CC3 - Ordinary Joe, CC4 - English Sparrow, CC5 - Woman in Blue, CC6 - Galleta Guitar
You will also need a 3.5 mm (US4) circular needle, 40” (100 cm) long, or the size needed to get gauge.
The pattern is available to purchase on Ravelry and is NOT included with this yarn set. Please note this is not the original yarn shown in the sample but one that we would recommend for this pattern.
