As its Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I have collaborated with two exceptional women in the yarn industry, who like me, they have had their lives affected by breast cancer. Rachel from Skein Queen, Rachel's mum, is a breast cancer survivor and Sarah from Fripperies & Bibelots whose sister won her battle.
Rachel has hand-dyed a limited edition skein for us, and Sarah has made a set of limited edition stitch markers. These are available to order together while stocks last.
Skein Queen Slinky Twist is 80% superwash merino and 20% silk. As a 4ply yarn, it's ideal for knitting shawls, it drapes beautifully and gives you a good meterage with a 365m / 100g.
